The coat is in good condition with only two small holes as pictured

The use of a rounded shawl collar also nods to Dior’s style and marks the beginning of a line of fabric covered buttons that extend down to the waist

however this is likely to have long worn off

the coat has one faux pocket on the right and a functional pocket on the left

It was cut with padded shoulders and an elasticated waist which gives room for movement on the slopes whilst maintaining that wonderful 1940s silhouette.
